Week 5 of 1st Half Autumn Term - Beddington
3rd – 7th October 2022
Next week we would like to do some activities with some autumnal bits and bobs. If you are going to the park, we would love you to collect some conkers, horse chestnut leaves, pine cones, acorns, oak leaves and sticks that we could look at and explore, Thank you!
Please remember to phone or text in if your child is not going to be at preschool, particularly if they are ill, so that we can inform other families if there is an illness or bug going around. Thank you!
Next week’s Jolly Phonics letter sounds are
“e” and “h”
The short songs can be found on the internet.
2-a-day stories.
Caterpillar group will be joining in with sound cards and:
I Love Animals by Flora McDonnell
That’s Not My Truck… by Fiona Watt & Rachel Watts
Butterfly group will be joining in with Jolly phonics rhymes and…
Ouch! I Need a Plaster! by Nick Sharratt
Elephant Wellyphant by Nick Sharratt
Remember… to put a change of clothes in your child’s bag in case of accidents! Could you also remember a bag to put the nappy/wet clothes in. Thank you!
While we can, we aim to start the morning off outside if possible and spend much of the session outdoors, your child may need a light rain jacket or coat as the weather can be changeable at this time of year.
