Week 5, 2nd Half Spring Term @ Lavender, Beddington
24th – 28th March 2025
We have spaces available for children to start after Easter, please ask for a waiting list form if you or a friend would like to apply for a space.
As the weather starts to improve, we will be using the garden more and more with water available most days. Please put a change of clothes in your child’s bag so that they can be changed if necessary. Thank you!
Next week we will be talking about Mother’s Day and what makes our mums special to us.
We will be watching out for signs of spring as we play in the garden, listening to the birds and seeing our flowers start to come up.
Our 2-a-day stories for the week ahead are…
Caterpillar group will be joining in with sound cards and:
That’s not my truck by Fiona Watt & Rachel Wells
I’m a Dingle Dangle Scarecrow by Annie Kubler
Butterfly group will be joining in with Jolly phonics rhymes and…
Buzz, Buzz, Buzz, Went Bumblebee by Colin West
Need A Wee! by Sue Hendra & Paul Linnet
Next week’s Jolly Phonics letter sounds are “j” and “b”.
The short songs can be found on the internet.
