Week 4 of 2nd Half Spring Term @ Beddington
13th – 17th March 2023
As it is Mother’s Day and Red Nose Day at the end of this week, we will be talking about people that look after us and how they might help us, as well as how we can help others. We will not be collecting for this, but welcome any children who would like to wear spots on Friday.
Don’t forget to call us or send a message with details of your child’s absence when they are not able to attend. We are required to keep accurate records for the local authority.
Please remember that if your child needs Calpol before coming to preschool, then they should stay at home until they are well. Thank you.
Our 2-a-day stories for the week ahead …
Caterpillar group will be joining in with sound cards and:
Spot Goes to the Farm by Eric Hill
Polar Bear, Polar Bear, what do you Hear? by Bill Martin Jnr & Eric Carle
Butterfly group will be joining in with Jolly phonics rhymes and…
Za-za’s Baby brother by Lucy Cousins
A Dark, Dark Tale by Ruth Brown
Next week’s Jolly Phonics letter sounds are “l” and “f”
The short songs can be found on the internet.
Please Remember… to put a change of clothes in your child’s bag in case of accidents! Could you also remember a bag to put the nappy/wet clothes in. Thank you!
Don’t forget to label your children’s water bottles and uniform!
