Week 4 of 2nd Half Autumn Term @ Beddington
20th – 24th November 2023
Don’t forget to return your photos and orders on Monday morning. They are being collected on Monday at 9.30am.
We will be closed on Tuesday for our Parent Progress meetings, there is NO PRE-SCHOOL on this day.
We have been talking about Children in Need and how we can help others. The children loved looking at the Pudsey bear pictures and story before creating their own Pudsey faces. They had to listen carefully and follow instructions, looking at the example to find out where the bits should go. The googly eyes were a big hit!
We also enjoyed lots of nursery rhymes this week and activities to support them, eg; singing; musical instruments and stage; creating artworks and models; role play and dressing up.
Our 2-a-day stories for the week ahead …
Caterpillar group will be joining in with sound cards and:
Guess What? Colours by Jeanette Rowe
Who is Sleeping? by Petr Horacek
Butterfly group will be joining in with Jolly phonics rhymes and…
A Fox got my Socks by Hilda Offen
Goodnight Spaceman by Michelle Robinson & Nick East
Next week’s Jolly Phonics letter sounds are “j” and “b”
