Week 1 of 2nd Half Autumn Term @ Beddington
31st October – 4th November 2022
We will return on Monday 31st October. We hope you are all having a nice half term!
Please remember to phone or text in if your child is not going to be at preschool, particularly if they are ill, so that we can inform other families if there is an illness or bug going around. Thank you!
Don’t forget that if your child has an unexplained temperature (e.g; something that has not been confirmed by GP or pharmacist), they will need to stay off for 48 hours.
Next week’s Jolly Phonics letter sounds are
“o” and “u”
The short songs can be found on the internet.
2-a-day stories.
Caterpillar group will be joining in with sound cards and:
We’re Going on a Ghost Hunt Adapted by K. Hirschmann & B. Langdo
3 Little Monsters Jumping on the Bed A Song
Butterfly group will be joining in with Jolly phonics rhymes and…
Ten Spooky Skeletons by Garry Parsons
What’s in the Witches Kitchen by Nick Sharratt
Please Remember… to put a change of clothes in your child’s bag in case of accidents! Could you also remember a bag to put the nappy/wet clothes in. Thank you!
While we can, we aim to start the morning off outside if possible and spend much of the session outdoors, your child may need a light rain jacket or coat that they can move and play in as the weather can be changeable at this time of year.
