PLEASE NAME ALL YOUR CHILD’S BELONGINGS
You have now all received a letter about our next Progress Day which will be held on Tuesday
March 25th please remember to sign up for an appointment with your child’s key-person. Normal
Pre-School will be closed on this day, and you will see your child’s key-person to discuss their progress. Refreshments are available and toys are out for the children to play, it is a good opportunity to stay and play and meet other parents and children. More information will follow nearer the time.
We celebrated World Book Day on Thursday 6th March by enjoying many stories together with the children and continuing to foster a real love of books. Thank you to those who brought in their children’s favourite books they loved sharing them with us. This significantly contributes to their language development, sparks their imagination, builds vocabulary, encourages curiosity, fosters empathy, and lays a strong foundation for future learning and literacy skills.
You can see our new photo board in the lobby showing the children developing their self-help skills by putting on their wellies and other physical skills. There is lots of information on the board detailing the importance of Independence skills and physical development for children’s development.
Please don’t forget your snack/messy play donation item or payment as we rely heavily on these throughout the week, and they help to keep our fees down. Please check the list on the board in the hall if you have forgotten which item you have signed up for.
Please make sure you are bringing in the items you signed up to on the snack and consumables list, so we have items to serve the children at snack time… Thank you.
A reminder to everyone that no food containing Nuts, sweets or chocolate must be put
in children’s lunches.
Please clearly name all items belonging to your child, coats, bags, shoes, lunch bags, water
bottles and uniform.
