We are now singing our Christmas songs with Christmas bells for the children to play. The words of the songs are up in the lobby for you to take a photo if you wish. You should find all the songs on You Tube so you can learn the tune to sing with your child.
We have started making Christmas crafts, we offer all the children the opportunity to make Christmas cards, calendars, and decorations, but as we believe that activities should be led by the children’s interests, some children may feel a stronger interest at a different activity where they are purposefully engaged in their learning.
The 12th & 13th December will be our 2 days of Festive Fun, the children can wear a Christmas jumper instead of uniform, but they still need practical play clothes as we will still have all our messy play available and the garden open. Over these two days we will have party food at snack time, make Christmas crafts, play with Christmas themed messy play, have a Christmas Candy cane hunt, watch a Christmas Elf visiting preschool video and receive a present left by Santa. We will film the children singing their Christmas songs and post it on the secure part of the website so make sure you have signed up to access this part of the website.
Remember anyone applying for 30hrs funding for the Spring Term January 9th, 2024, until 27th March 2024 must apply online to receive your code before we close in December.
A reminder to everyone that no food containing Nuts or Sesame must be brought onto the premises, in lunch boxes or for snacks. No food items or sweets are to be brought in by older siblings at drop off and pick up times. Thank you.
Please name all items belonging to your child, coats, bags, shoes, lunch bags, water bottles and uniform.
The children all need a named warm winter coat at Pre-School now the weather is colder, raincoats even with a fleece lining just are not warm enough for the garden. We are free flow, so the doors are open throughout the session and the outside garden is available to the children throughout the day.
Scooters And Bikes Must Not Be Ridden into The Building for Health & Safety Reasons.
Please Leave Them Safely Outside of The Pre-School Lobby While Collecting Your Child
Thank you for your co-operation.
