Our Christmas Post Box is in the Lobby, the children love to post their Christmas cards through the letter box opening. We are mindful of the environment and suggest that each child only posts about 5 cards to children they choose. The postbox will be emptied on the 13th & 14th December.
The last 2 days of term Tues 13th & Weds 14th December will be our Two Days of Festive Fun. Your child can wear a Christmas jumper if they wish, but something you are happy to get messy as they will be engaging in normal messy play. We will have many festive activities during the sessions, Christmas themed messy play, Christmas printing & crafts, Christmas music, stories & singing, Christmas Party Food and all the children will receive a present from Father Christmas to take home.
Weds 14th December is the last day of term and we will finish at normal time opening the doors at 3.25pm. Please make sure you empty your child’s tray and take home all bags from the pegs.
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR CHILD BRINGS IN SPARE CLOTHES EVERY DAY INCLUDING WARM TOPS, JOGGING TROUSERS OR LEGGINGS, PANTS and SOCKS. ALL THE CHILDREN NEED SPARE CLOTHES AS THEY PLAY IN THE GARDEN WHICH IS WET & MUDDY, INDEPENDENTLY WASH THEIR HANDS AT CHILD HEIGHT SINKS AND ENGAGE IN MESSY PLAY ACTIVITIES.
If you have any old Christmas cards, wrapping paper or decorations you no longer want, we will be very happy to take them off your hands! Thank you in advance.
Please remember that we are always outside , so please make sure your child has a suitable warm named coat. It will get dirty as we will be playing with and experiencing chalk, paint, soil and other messy play; that is what we’re here for! Please also make sure your child is wearing (named) layers to keep them warm while inside as we will be keeping the windows and garden door open for ventilation and free flow access.
