It has been lovely to see our children returning to preschool, our new children have started to join us and we continue to welcome them and their families over the next few weeks.
The children have started to get back into our routines and started to bond with new children
joining us.
We have been setting up ice experiments in the garden to see if any water freezes over night. No luck so far but we will continue to monitor them and see what happens this week.
Maybe you could fill a yogurt pot or small container with water or coloured water put a small toy or flower or leaf into it, leave it on a balcony or in the garden and see if it freezes overnight. Children are naturally curious and love to see what happens. It has changed … wow now what happens? How can they remove it , they can see what happens next ,what the word MELT means as they watch the ice melt. We have done this and filled up disposable gloves with coloured water to see what happens. The children remember each day and check on their experiments to see what happens.
Please make sure you are bringing in the items you signed up to on the snack and consumables list, and a big thank you to those who regularly donate items each week.
A reminder to everyone that no food containing Nuts or Sesame must be brought onto the premises, in lunch boxes or for snacks. No food items or sweets are to be brought in by older siblings at drop off and pick up times. Thank you.
Please name all items belonging to your child, coats, bags, shoes, lunch bags, water bottles and uniform.
The children all need a named warm winter coat at preschool now the weather is colder, raincoats even with a fleece lining just are not warm enough for the garden. We are free flow, so the doors are open throughout the session and the outside garden is available to the children throughout the day.
Scooters And Bikes Must Not Be Ridden into The Building for Health & Safety Reasons.
Please Leave Them Safely Outside of The Preschool Lobby While Collecting Your Child
Thank you for your co-operation
