The Jolly Phonic Sounds for this week​​ are​​ m,d

We are​​ now welcoming​​ our new children and their families​​ and bonding together as a group, the children are starting to settle in well.

We will have photos of the Pirate Party displayed in the lobby as soon as we can.​​ Over this half term we will be focusing on​​ 

 

 

  • Supporting​​ the returning children adapt​​ to their changing environment as​​ the older children​​ have moved on and new children are​​ joining us.

  • Assessing​​ how they have progressed over the summer break​​ and how to support their progress moving forward​​ 

  • Settling in new children

  • Bonding together as a group.

  • Talking through events​​ over the last few weeks, the death of Queen Elizabeth II and the change to King Charles III using clear age appropriate language and visuals, such as adapting our Jubilee Celebration display board and a book we have made,

​​ “ Paddington Bear remembers the Queen”.

 

 

Snack Time

Please resign the sign​​ up sheet for snack time, and bring in your contribution a.s.a.p. ​​ thank you.

 

Remember to name all your children’s​​ belongings, uniform, spare clothes, coats, water bottles and lunch bags.

  • Pre-school returns –​​ Wednesday 7th September

  • Last day of Term –​​ Friday 21st​​ October​​ 

  • Half Term –​​ Monday​​ 24th​​ Oct – Friday 28th​​ Oct

  • Preschool re-opens–​​ Mon 31st​​ Oct

  • Last day of Term –​​ Wednesday 14th​​ December ​​ * This will not be a normal day as it will be the day of the Christmas Party more information to follow.

  • Christmas Break –​​ Thursday 15th​​ December – Wednesday 4th​​ January

  • Preschool reopens​​ –​​ Thursday 5th​​ January

  • Please make sure there is no flavoured water, squash, or milk in children’s water bottles, and we have several children with dietary requirements and allergies. Anything other than plain water will be emptied out and replaced with tap water.​​ 

 

Please make sure that all your child’s belongings are named this includes all uniform, coats, bags, lunch bags, water bottles, wellies,​​ shoes,​​ and water bottles

Names must be on

  • All Uniform…polo shirt,​​ sweatshirt, cardigans joggers, leggings

  • Shoes….as children take off shoes to put wellies on.

  • Wellies…​​ as​​ there are many pairs of the same design.

  • Coats.children do not know their coats when there are​​ 30​​ coats

  • Outside of Bags.to quickly identify​​ items​​ & return to children quickly

  • Outside of Lunch Bags/Boxes.to make sure children get the correct lunch we have several bags/boxes of the same design

  • Water​​ Bottles.​​ to make sure children get the correct water bottle we have several of the same design.
