After the nations sad news about the Queen and our new King we will be talking about these events with the children who will be noticing all the changes, especially as they so enjoyed the Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
We are now welcoming our new children and their families and bonding together as a group
We will have photos of the Pirate Party displayed in the lobby as soon as we can. Over this half term we will be focusing on
Talking through events over the last few days, the death of Queen Elizabeth II and the change to King Charles III using clear age-appropriate language and visuals, such as adapting our Jubilee Celebration display board and a book we have made,
“Paddington Bear remembers the Queen”.
Supporting the returning children adapt to their changing environment as the older children have moved on and new children are joining us.
Assessing how they have progressed over the summer break and how to support their progress moving forward
