Children’s Christmas Festive Fun Days
On Tuesday 13th and Wednesday 14th December, we will be having Christmas themed festive fun activities.
All children are to attend on their normal booked days at their normal session times.
We will have a Christmas Elf visiting the children via video link with a present from Father Christmas and a little interactive story. We will be having some party food at snack time. We will have lots of different creative Christmas crafts and Christmas dancing and singing going on during the sessions. From December onwards we will be singing Christmas songs every day just before the children go home and we will be making a short recording and putting this onto our website for you to view. The song words are in the lobby if you wish to take a picture of them and sing them at home.
From the 1st December we will have a postbox in the lobby for the children to post Christmas cards to their friends, the cards will be given out on 13th December. We are trying to be environmentally friendly so please only write a handful of cards to a few friends (suggestion no more than 5). Do not throw away your Christmas cards and in January please bring the pictures from the Christmas cards in for the children to reuse for cutting and sticking.
On the last week of term 12th-14th December please bring in one item of party food (suggestions below) instead of your normal weekly contribution. Every child will get 3 or 4 items of party food to have at snack time.
Please feel free to wear a Christmas jumper on the last 2 days instead of uniform (if they want to). Please do not put fancy dress costumes or party clothes on unless it is suitable for playing outside and in messy play activities.
Party snack contributions suggestions, 1 item only; Biscuits such as Chocolate Fingers, Party Rings, Pink Wafers, Cakes such as Fairy cakes, Small Muffins, individual Cakes Crisps any Sharing Bag of Crisps.
No meat products and no products containing nuts, no homemade bakes, thank you.
If you have any questions please ask Helen, Michele or Karen.
