Dear Families,
As we enter the final few weeks at Lavender Preschool before the summer holidays.
We will be saying Goodbye to 23 of our children at the end of this term, (Theo, Reuben, Alivia, Ronnie, Bella, Freya, Isabel, Ava, Leo, Savannah, Frankie, Ivy C-S, Reegan, Tommy, Charlie, Jibreel, Poppy, Joy, Chiara, Marley, Labeena, Yaleena and Ivy F), and would like to wish these children and their families all the very best for the next stage of their education.
Our final week will look like this…
- Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (15, 16th& 17th July), will be ordinary pre-school days with lunch club as usual.
- Thursday (18th July), will be our last day with NO LUNCH CLUB. All children will start at 9am.
We will be having a “Teddy bears picnic” on the last day, so that the children will have a chance to enjoy their last few hours together as a class group. We will have some fun activities going on and would like to invite every-one to take part.
This will also be a Mufti Day, so your child can wear their own clothes– there is a chance they could get a bit messy from the activities!
- After the party, the children who will be returning in September, will then leave at 11.30, the door will be opened at 11.25am. Please bring a bag to take any bits and bobs home in.
- At 11.40 we will start admitting the parents of the children who will be leaving. We will sing our goodbye song and give out the medals and leaving books.
This could take some time so please be patient! Your child’s learning Journey will be available to collect on this day, please bring a bag for your child’s bits and bobs.

For children that will be returning in September…
We will return on Thursday 5th September 2024, inviting All children to attend on the 5th and 6th September to help them settle back in as quickly as possible.
(We will be having our induction day on Thursday 9th September, so there will be no Preschool on that day, as we welcome our new families.
The new children will be having a staggered start from Friday 10th September and all returning children will go back to the days they have booked with Helen.
