Week 6 of 1st Half Summer Term @ Beddington
20th – 24th May 2024
We will break up at the end of this week (Friday 24th May) for the half term break, returning on Monday 3rd June.
It is National Bee Day on Monday so we will be listening to some bee rhymes and stories, exploring some activities and talking about amazing bees! We might even spot some in our garden.
Don’t forget to put suncream on your child before preschool starts and bring a named hat and water bottle!
Our 2-a-day stories for the week ahead are…
Caterpillar group will be joining in with sound cards and:
Here are the Bees A Rhyme
Maisy likes Driving by Lucy Cousins
Butterfly group will be joining in with Jolly phonics rhymes and…
Bumpus Jumpus, Dinosaurumpus! by Tony Mitton & Guy Parker-Rees
On A Dark, Dark Night by Simon Prescott
Next week’s Jolly Phonics letter sounds are “e” and “h”,
The short songs can be found on the internet.
Please do not put any fruit rolls/sweets or chocolate items in your child’s lunch box. As well as possible allergies, as an early years setting, we must promote a healthy diet and oral health as laid out in the Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Framework, and act on the advice from Ofsted. Thankyou!
