Week 3 of 1st Half Summer Term @ Beddington
29th April – 3rd May 2024
Please do not put any fruit rolls/sweets or chocolate items in your child’s lunch box. As well as possible allergies, as an early years setting, we must promote a healthy diet and oral health as laid out in the Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Framework, and act on the advice from Ofsted. Thankyou!
Next week is the start of National Gardening Week (1-7 May). We will be reading garden themed stories, digging in our mud kitchen and talking about how things grow and planting sunflowers to bring home.
Our 2-a-day stories for the week ahead …
Caterpillar group will be joining in with sound cards and:
I’m a Dingle-Dangle Scarecrow by Annie Kubler
Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? by Bill Martin Jnr & Eric Carle
Butterfly group will be joining in with Jolly phonics rhymes and…
Fancy Dress Farmyard by Nick Sharratt
Sam Plants A Sunflower by Kate Petty & Axel Scheffler
Next week’s Jolly Phonics letter sounds are “i” and “n”,
the short songs can be found on the internet.
Whatever the hair, they don’t care! Could we remind everyone to check their child’s hair regularly looking for headlice or nits. More info can be found here…
