Week 5 of 2nd Half Summer Term @ Beddington
3rd – 7th July 2023
Please make sure you have applied sun cream before preschool as the weather continues to improve, that your child is dressed for the weather and has a named water bottle and hat. Thankyou!
Our Painted Lady butterflies emerged from their chrysalids last weekend, and we saw that they were all ready to fly off. We talked about their colours, patterns, spots; their furry bodies and proboscis as they sucked up their food from flowers and fruit. On Wednesday, we got together in the warm sunshine, and opened the net.
The butterflies came out one by one and we waved them off on their journey to find food, lay eggs and their eventual migration to Africa!
