Week 1 of 1st Half Summer Term @ Beddington
18th – 21st April 2023
We hope you have all enjoyed the Easter break! We will return on Tuesday 18th April.
Next week we will be welcoming two new children to our group.
As we settle back into preschool life, we will continue to explore the mud kitchen/digging area as this was extremely popular last half term!
Please remember that if your child needs Calpol before coming to preschool, then they should stay at home until they are well. Thank you.
Don’t forget to call us or send a message with details of your child’s absence when they are not able to attend. We are required to keep accurate records for the local authority.
Our 2-a-day stories for the week ahead …
Caterpillar group will be joining in with sound cards and:
Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star Illustrated by Annie Kubler
I Love Animals by Flora McDonnell
Butterfly group will be joining in with Jolly phonics rhymes and…
The Gingerbread Man Illustrated by Elena Temporin
Good Days Bad Days by Catherine & Laurence Anholt
Next week’s Jolly Phonics letter sounds are “s” and “a”
The short songs can be found on the internet.
Please Remember… to put a change of clothes in your child’s bag in case of accidents! Could you also remember a bag to put the nappy/wet clothes in. Thank you!
Please label your children’s water bottles and uniform!
