Week 6 of 1st Half Spring Term @ Beddington
6th – 10th February 2023
We have had lots of children off with a high temperature, colds and coughs this week. Please remember that if your child needs Calpol before coming to preschool, then they should stay at home until they are well. Thank you.
Don’t forget…we will break up on Friday 10th Feb for 1 week half term break, returning on Monday 20th February 2023.
We will continue exploring numbers this week, making number lines, writing our own numbers/mark making and using pegs to hang and order them.
Our 2-a-day stories for the week ahead …
Caterpillar group will be joining in with sound cards and:
Spot says Goodnight by Eric Hill
Oh Dear! by Rod Campbell
Butterfly group will be joining in with Jolly phonics rhymes and…
What shall we do with the Boo Hoo Baby? by Cressida Cowell & Ingrid Godon
The Train Ride by June Crebbin & Stephen Lambert
Next week’s Jolly Phonics letter sounds are “e” and “h”
The short songs can be found on the internet.
Please Remember… to put a change of clothes in your child’s bag in case of accidents! Could you also remember a bag to put the nappy/wet clothes in. Thank you!
Don’t forget to label your children’s water bottles and uniform!
