As the season changes from Summer to Autumn we will be observing what happens. Talk about the changing environment with your child and collect leaves, sticks, conkers, acorns and sticks when you are walking through the park or walking to school to bring into preschool for our Autumn Feely Boxes. We have been creating artwork with these items in the garden, and will be using them for weighing and counting as well as discussing and exploring them , so keep bringing them in.
Our new children and their families are bonding together as a group, the children are starting to settle in well.
Over this half term we will be focusing on
Supporting the returning children adapt to their changing environment as the older children have moved on and new children are joining us.
Assessing how they have progressed over the summer break and how to support their progress moving forward
Settling in new children
Bonding together as a group.
