Week 1 of 1st Half Autumn Term @ Beddington
5th – 9th September 2022
Welcome back to Lavender Pre-school for the new academic year!
We hope you had a good summer break and are ready to return and get back into the swing of things.
We look forward to welcoming our returning and new children and families in the next couple of weeks.
Please remember that open toed sandals are not suitable shoes for pre-school, as the children cannot climb or run safely in them.
Next week’s Jolly Phonics letter sounds are
“s” and “a”
The short songs can be found on the internet.
2-a-day stories.
Caterpillar group will be joining in with phonics sounds and…
Floppy Ears by Jane Cabrera
This Little Puppy by Lucy Lyes
Butterfly group will be joining in with Jolly phonics rhymes and…
Little Rabbit Foo Foo by Michael Rosen & Arthur Robbins
Cat’s Colours by Jane Cabrera
Remember… to put a change of clothes in your child’s bag in case of accidents! Could you also remember a bag to put the nappy/wet clothes in. Thank you!
While the weather is still warm, we aim to start the morning off outside and spend much of the session outdoors, whilst ensuring the children are adequately hydrated and come in for rest periods. Could all children come into pre-school with a named water-bottle, wearing a named sun hat and have sun cream applied before the session. Thank-you!
