Eligibility​​ Rules for 30​​ Hours​​ Free​​ Childcare

If your child is 3 or 4, you can check if you are eligible for the 30 hours of childcare by going to​​ www.childcarechoices.gov.uk

  • Your child will be aged 3 or 4 years

  • Both parents​​ must​​ be working - or the sole parent is working in a lone parent family

  • Each​​ parent earns, on average, a weekly minimum equivalent to 16 hours at National Minimum Wage or National Living Wage

  • Each​​ parent must have an annual income of less than £100,000

  • You live in England

 

Lavender Preschool​​ offers​​ 32 ½​​ ​​ hours a week;​​ (which is 4 ½ days FREE with the option to pay £12.50​​ per week​​ to top up hours to 5 full days per week)

Monday 9.10​​ start, finishing at 12.10​​ or 3.40

Tuesday 9.10​​ start, finishing at 12.10 or​​ 3.40

Wednesday 9.10​​ start, finishing at 12.10 or 3.40​​ 

Thursday 9.10​​ start,​​ finishing at 12.10​​ or 3.40

Friday 9.10​​ start, finishing at 12.10 or 3.40​​ 

 

You will need to apply for an 11 digit​​ code​​ from:​​ www.childcarechoices.gov.uk​​ and​​ send it to Helen​​ by​​ 28th​​ March​​ (lavender.playschool@yahoo.co.uk)​​ along with​​ your​​ Date of Birth and National Insurance number,​​ if you wish to use this funding​​ from the start of the​​ following​​ term.​​ 

If this is your first application you will need to spend about 20-30 mins setting up an account, but each subsequent renewal (x 3 per year,​​ before​​ the end of each term) will only take 3-5 mins.​​
